Setting up Jira integration

Connect Jira at account level, select projects and issue types dynamically, and assign issues with priority when tracking findings.

1

Connect your Atlassian workspace

Go to Integrations in your account settings and click Connect Jira. You will be taken to Atlassian to authorise the Destiny QA app. If your Atlassian console is in Development mode, click Accept on the warning banner. For production use, ensure the 'View user profiles' (read:jira-user) permission is checked in your Atlassian Developer Console.

2

Create an issue from a report finding

Once Jira is connected, open any completed audit report. On any warning or failing check, click the Create Issue button. Select Jira as the destination provider from the dropdown. Destiny QA will automatically load active projects, issue types (e.g. Task, Bug), and assignable users from your Jira workspace.

3

Select project, assignee, and priority

Select the target Jira project key and choose the issue type. You can optionally select a specific team member as the Assignee from the list of assignable users, and choose an issue Priority (e.g. High, Medium, Low). The created issue will automatically link back to the report finding and include the list of affected page URLs and specific error details.

4

Review linked issues

Every created issue remains linked to the finding card on the report dashboard. Clicking the link opens the issue in your Jira workspace. Any status updates to the issue in Jira can be tracked directly from the Destiny QA report.
